One Direction are one of the most popular boybands in the world right now and it seems that everyone wants a piece of them.

Earlier this week singer song writer Mika admitted that he wanted to work with the lads and it has also been reported that the bosses of X Factor Australia have booked Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson to appear on their new series.

The band won’t just be performing either, but will be mentoring hopefuls contestants as they make their way through the judges’ houses stage of the competition.

The five singers of course shot to fame on the UK version of the show in 2010, when they finished in third place behind Matt Cardle and Rebecca Ferguson. They have went on to become one of the most successful reality TV acts of all time and so have a wealth of experience that they can draw upon when advising new stars.

It has been reported that the boys may be joining Mel B when she makes the choice between the last of her contestants and chooses her finalists for the live shows. However it seems just as likely that they could be working with former Boyzone singer Ronan Keating as we know Niall Horan has already met the Irish star on a number of occasions.
