One Direction 2012: Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Niall Horan in the studio but where is Zayn Malik? Could Perez Hilton be right?
The One Direction boys are hard at work this afternoon, or some of them are at least.
It has been reported that Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan are all in the recording studio, working on their second album which is set for release later this year.
However, one member of the group seems to be missing.
Zayn Malik is not with the group according to fans who have been waiting outside for the boys all day.
Harry, Liam, Niall and Louis were all spotted going into the studio this morning and were seen again going for lunch just minutes ago, but some other supporters have claimed that Malik is spending time with his girlfriend Perrie Edwards this afternoon.
Perhaps Zayn wasn’t needed for today’s recording session, or perhaps he is laying down his vocals at a later date but after Perez Hilton claimed that the band are on the brink of a split and insisted that Malik will be the first one to leave, his absence today will certainly cause some speculation.
We hope he isn’t thinking about leaving. 1D wouldn’t be 1D without Zayny baby! What do you think? Leave your comments below…

I think Perez should shut his mouth. Zayn and the boys are like brothers. So what if he isn’t there for a day. He wants to spend time with his girlfriend. Last time I check that isn’t our say if they can or cannot see each other. So before Perez Hilton opens his big ass mouth he should really just consider other people and their reasons. I mean it was perrie’s birthday not too long ago. Just Saying happy birthday through via twitter wouldn’t be very special now would it? He could be celebrating. So just shut up.

My little message to Hilton: SHUT YOUR F-ING MOUTH. Nobody cares that think they will split. Although, I do think that Perrier might not be doing any good for Zayn at the moment. If she’s keeping him from the studio,mthen maybe they both need to do a little soul searching and findmout wether they want to spend more time, which should be spent in the studio, together, or if they want to get Zayn in major trouble and maybe kicked out of the band. I’m not saying I want it to happen. I would die if that happened. It’s too early in his career for him to be skipping recording sessions and stuff. Do you see Harry or Louis or Liam skipping to hang out with Caggie or Eleanor or Danielle? I don’t think so.
