Just today, there have already been rumours that One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles might be planning to date Canadian singer Alyssa Reid…

And now, there’s yet another which suggests that Harry has charmed his way into the little black book of TV reporter Caroline Whitmore, who – rather like Harry’s former girlfriend, Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack – has been branded a “cougar.”

TV Biz reports that Caroline met with the 1D boys when she interviewed them over the weekend, and it seems that Harry’s band mates Zayn, Liam, Louis and Niall, all spotted Caroline and Harry’s instant chemistry, and teased the pair unmercifully for the duration of the interview.

An onlooker said, “Harry was the only one of the boys to kiss her — and he did it twice…

“That started the rest of the boys teasing him in front of her saying things like, ‘Ooh — a kiss for Caroline. It wouldn’t be the first time’.

“Harry tried to brush it off but the lads kept teasing them and making funny noises and dropping hints they were an item.”

But rather than be embarrassed or try to stop the jibes, Harry reportedly turned to Caroline during their chat – which was for Liverpool’s Radio City Live – and winked at her before asking, “Don’t I recognise you from somewhere?”

After the Saturday night interview, Caroline said, “He was very sweet. He was the only one to kiss me and twice! He did blush.”

One of her friends later messaged her on Twitter saying, “Harry’s grown up from when I met him in ‘your’ studio a couple of years back — eek!”

However, the paper adds, “It is unlikely Caroline’s husband Steve Whitmore will be too happy she’s gushing over Harry.”

Well, as fans of Harry’s will know, the fact that a woman is married isn’t much of an obstacle as far as he’s concerned because he of course allegedly had an affair with married DJ Lucy Horobin last year.
