The One Direction boys have had a crazy few days.

As well as putting the finishing touches to their second album, the lads have spent most of this week in photoshoots for the cover art and yesterday they spent hours shooting the video for their new single ‘Live While We’re Young’.

1D management announced the name of the new track and it’s release date at 1PM yesterday and the title trended on Twitter until the early hours of this morning asa result.

While the buzz was spreading, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson were hard at work and Haz tweeted last night saying:

‘Great day shooting for the music video for ‘Live While We’re Young’ bit nippy..’

Just a few minutes ago Niall revealed that he is exhausted after the long day and wrote:

‘goodmorning! what a day yesterday shooting the video ! gona be sick! director is a legend! still in bed now! starvin but cudnt be bothered’

However, he is grateful to the band’s fans whose enthusiasm kept them at the top of Twitter trends yesterday and he thanked them saying:

‘Love the fact ” live while we’re young” is still trending ! Since 1pm uk time! That is unbelievable! U guys are incredible! Love you so much’

He added:

‘Now you’ve heard the name of the first single! Cannot wait for you to hear the song itself now!’

The ‘Live While We’re Young’ EP is now available for download on iTunes and is already climbing the charts.
