One Direction had a special treat for their fans when they took to the stage last night.

The boys were celebrating their last concert as part of their North American tour and at first confused the audience, when they emerged wearing each other’s clothes.

We hadn’t realised just how distinctive each boy’s sense of style is, but after looking at the pictures, we think you’ll agree that the result yesterday was very strange indeed and it was easy to instantly pick out who was dressed as who.

Harry Styles had obviously raided Zayn Malik’s wardrobe and though he always looks cute, we aren’t sure that the sports jacket look really suits him.

Niall Horan modeled a plain coloured t shirt and smart jacket, a la Harry, Louis Tomlinson looked very sensible indeed in Liam Payne’s checked shirt and Liam looked great in his red polo shirt.

But it was Zayn’s transformation we liked best and we think he should definitely take style advice from Louis more often…..as he looked decidedly smoking in his striped t shirt!

Niall Horan admitted that the concert had been one of the most fun of the tour but revealed on Twitter today that he is looking forward to getting home to Ireland. he tweeted:

‘Afternoon!had a fun night last night, sat around with everyone,all the crew on the tour n stuff, it was an amazing tour! Cant wait t go home’

Tomlinson added:

‘Guys it been an amazing tour. Wow thank you so much to everyone! We love you! X’
