Harry Styles has reached out to Gary Barlow, after he confirmed that his fourth child was stillborn on Saturday.

The Take That star earlier announced that Dawn, his wife of twelve years delivered their baby daughter Poppy on the 4th of August and asked for consideration and privacy for himself and his family as they plan the funeral.

One Direction star Harry has met the X Factor judge on numerous occasions and this evening offered his message of condolence to the star, tweeting:

‘My Love, thoughts and prayers are with @GBarlowOfficial and his family at such a difficult time.. .xx’

Former Atomic Kitten singer Liz McLarnon also messaged Gary, writing:

Oh god, such sad news! My deepest sympathy for @gbarlowofficial, his wife & their whole family

Radio DJ Edith Bowman added:
