As fans of One Direction will of course know, the 1D lads made an appearance on The X Factor on Saturday’s first live show…

And a woefully brief appearance it was too, however, it seems that though the lads, Harry, Liam, Louis, Niall and Zayn were been on stage a matter of moments, they spent a lot more time backstage.

And for Harry, that meant a chance to go on the pull, and it’s reported in the Daily Star that he left the studios with a young blonde woman on his arm.

However, the paper also states that Harry “snubbed” ex-girlfriend Caroline Flack backstage – she of course hosts The Xtra Factor with Olly Murs – and “made a point” of avoiding her…

But it seems Caroline wasn’t bothered about any “snub” and told the paper, “Harry is adorable. He was nice to me, we were nice to each other.

“We are still friends, he’s brilliant and he is so much fun.”

However, while Harry was busy in the pull, it seems that Louis spent the evening after the live show drinking with Lucy Spraggan and James Arthur.

Meanwhile, former winner Leona Lewis – who of course performed last night – has been telling the Mirror the truth about her supposed affair with Liam Payne…

As we reported, just days after breaking up with Danielle Peazer, it was rumoured that Liam and Leona were an item, however, Leona says it’s not true and having recently split from her boyfriend, she’s not looking for a relationship.

Of Liam, Leona said, “He is a really sweet, lovely guy. I’m a fan of One Direction. We have been friends for a year-and-a-half.”

She added, “I’ve learned from having relationships before that have been speculated about, it’s best not to talk about it.”

However, she continued, “I’m quite a free spirit. I like having my own space and being able to do whatever I want without having anyone to answer to.

“I’ve had my heart broken so many times. It’s so awful. You need your friends, ice-cream and good movies.

“I love being in love. You have someone to come home to.

“You don’t feel lonely because someone’s always there, especially when you’re travelling and need a bit of normality.

“You watch a movie on the sofa together, stuff like that. I like to be wooed.

“I’m a good girlfriend, not high maintenance but I like to be treated well.

“I think every girl does. I like romance.”
