Justin Bieber has finally spoken out about what happened to Zayn Malik’s leg.

The One Direction singer was spotted hobbling on a pair of crutches, as he returned home from the US to the UK earlier this month and coincidentally he had spent the evening before hanging out with the Canadian teen idol.

We had heard loads of rumours about what actually happened to his ankle, but in a recent radio interview Justin confessed that the injury was caused by a sporting accident.

“He was actually at my house and we were skateboarding, in LA,” Justin told Key103.

“We were skateboarding and Alfredo [Flores] and him were at my house before I got there and they were skateboarding and he rolled his ankle or something like that on the half pipe. I felt bad.”

He felt bad, but not bad enough to a) find out exactly what happened or b) accompany his new pal to the hospital…Alfredo did that!

However, we have to admit we do think it’s pretty cool that Biebs has got his own skate park…we’d give anything to have one in our back yard!

Meanwhile, Liam Payne has been sharing some 1D secrets with Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw.

As he takes the reigns at his new breakfast show Grimmy has promised to feature an interview with member of 1D every morning this week. Unsurprisingly his first guest was best pal Harry Styles yesterday and this morning he had a chat with Liam Payne.

The hunk sounded exhausted and at first we thought he was only out of bed, but he revealed that he was already at work and sitting in the makeup chair being made up for a shoot.

He told Grimmy that he and Harry were on the ‘early shift’ and that Zayn, Louis and Niall would be in later that day. Liam was glad he wasn’t working with Horan first thing as he revealed that the Irish star is incredibly ‘annoying’ in the morning because he is perpetually happy…and loud.

Poor old Niall. We like his cheerful nature!
