One Direction are finally back on home soil.

The boys have been busy completing a month long North American tour over the last few weeks but after their final gig in Florida on Sunday night, this morning Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik all touched down safe and sound at London’s Heathrow airport.

It was a very dignified affair, with just a few quiet fans murmuring ‘welcome home’ as the lads walked past….no we’re lying, it was the exact opposite. Even though it was an incredibly early flight, the airport was full of security men, paparazzi and screaming fangirls, there to greet their idols.

Some of the items the lads were carrying were interesting though.

Louis was spotted carrying a bright pink skateboard, which he claims is a present for his sister but we think might be for his own personal use.

Liam was spotted with a bulging Harry Potter bag, which no doubt contained gifts for his family and friends.

He was desperate to see his loved ones again and to fill his face and tweeted this morning saying:

‘Can’t wait to get hhome and have a mcdaniels or a bugerqueen lol family guy jokes’

Horan on the otherhand was looking forward to an altogether different treat and wrote:

‘Cant wait t go home and watch jeremy kyle! #jezzayou’vebeenmissed’
