The One Direction lads must have needed to blow off a lot of steam at the weekend.

Liam Payne and his closest friends hit the Funky Buddha nightclub in London on Saturday night and judging from the pictures which made their way onto Twitter and Instagram it seems like quite the bash.

Payne was joined at the venue by a crowd of his closest pals, his girlfriend Danielle Peazer, bandmates Harry Styles and Niall Horan – though Nialler was late because he hit Alexandra Burke’s party first and then got turned away by security when he arrived at Buddha – his sisters, Josh Devine and Andy Samuels.

Liam definitely let his hair down and took a night off being the sensible 1D member, as after filling himself chock full of birthday cake, he decided to have a champagne fight on the dance floor.

As you can see from the shot above he looks truly elated with himself for doing something so very rock and roll but we can’t help but think what an incredible watse of probably very expensive champers it is!

Liam later tweeted:

“Had a few really busy but brilliant dayss …. 2 days to my birthdayyy wooowwww weeee .” [sic]

Before arriving at Liam’s do, Harry Styles first enjoyed a star studded night at G.A.Y.

The 1D hunk hooked up with Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora, who was playing at the club that night, and as it’s the fourth time Haz has been pictured with Grimmy this week, we wonder if Louis Tomlinson is getting a little bit jealous.

It looks like he’s being replaced in Harry’s heart.

Haz and Nick spent Saturday afternoon together at Reading Festival, then called in to watch Rita perform her set in London. She tweeted about the event, saying:

“Thanks 4 comin my litlle fashionista’s! Lookin flyer then a mofo @Harry_Styles @grimmers need another gyaldem tune #ORA,”

It seems that Styles may have gotten a little over excited at the after party though, and instigated a bit of a food fight.

“@RitaOra amazing at g-a-y, however as a result of the Harry Styles backstage food fight, think we may need a cleaner,” club owner Jeremy Joseph tweeted, along with this picture of Rita’s dressing room.

We can’t believe that Harry’s mum Anne Cox once said he was incredibly tidy. This mess is worse than the one we’ve been ignoring in our kitchen all week!
