Zayn Malik is a property owner and has bought his very own London home.

It’s a large house, with five bedrooms and a swimming pool but we have to admit, we think it looks a little bit odd.

The white and chrome building is smack bang in the middle of the leafy suburb of Hertfordshire, in the north of the city and definitely has all the security measures in place that the One Direction star would need.

It is set back from the main road, has huge, remote controlled wooden gates and is surrounded by large trees which would hopefully block most photographers.

It is claimed that the house set the young hunk back somewhere in the region of £2 million, though for that money he got a home with a pool, four bathrooms, a roof deck, a separate steam room and jacuzzi and a sun terrace.

In case he wants to have some posh guests round for dinner, Malik will also have his own HUGE dining room, an underground wine cellar and all his rooms have been fitted with underfloor heating.

The 1D singer has been a busy boy this week, between performing at award ceremonies and attending photo shoots and interviews so he hasn’t even moved his own stuff in….he left a team of removal men to do that for him.

Pictures on The Daily Mail’s website show the staff removing a motorbike, a scooter and what seems to be two life sized statues of Zayn from the lorry, before transporting them into the house.

We are imagining the decor inside must be pretty interesting too then!
