Louis Tomlinson has apologised to his fans for being so quiet on Twitter recently.

The One Direction singer has been snowed under during the band’s tour of America and has only been tweeting his followers sporadically at best over the last few weeks.

However, he has promised his supporters that he will try to interact more in the coming days and took to the micro blogging website last night to tweet:

‘Can’t wait for you guys to hear the new album I’ve been shit on Twitter lately, promise to tweet more big love x’

Insiders reported that the lads have been continuing work on their follow up album to their best selling debut ‘up All Night’ while on tour and will continue with the writing and recording when they get back to the UK next month.

Louis recently admitted that he, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne have used their relationships and girlfriends as inspiration for many of the new tracks, so expect it to be slushy!

Meanwhile, perhaps Niall Horan could do with some training on the micro blogging website.

The Irish star tried to connect with his fans last night, by doing a live Twitcam with them. However, after ages of messing around with his laptop and his camera, the singer could be seen by followers, but couldn’t view any of their messages or tweets.

He ended up singing off and tweeting them to say:

‘there is something wrong with the twitcam website… it wont work for me.. i will do one in the next few days’

”no one was chattin..so i was just sittin there hahaha… i think ima sleep..that website is terrible’

Luckily, many of the fangirls had gotten their 1D fix, as Liam Payne had spent ages twitcamming them from his hotel the night before.
