Louis Tomlinson has been splashing the cash this week it would seem.

The One Direction star has previously bought a new London pad, a fancy new car and even a car for his girlfriend Eleanor Calder and now he’s purchased his very own football team.

The handsome star reportedly purchased a football team run from his local pub, called The Three Horseshoes. His only stipulation was that when he is not busy and not on tour, he can join in on any matches they have planned.

We can’t help but wonder if his little game of footy with Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran earlier in the week made him realise his love of the sport?

So what will Eleanor think of his new purchase? We imagine that she’d prefer the singer to spend his massive earnings on her and jewelry, clothes and fancy holidays not a group of sweaty men who spend time kicking a ball around a field and probably not winning very often!

Louis has the cash to spare though and he’s about to earn a whole lot more, when he and his bandmates return to America next week to put the finishing touches to their soon to be released second album.

The record is sure to become another best seller and chart topper and the lads will also cash in with a new calendar, a book and a whole range of new merchandise just in time for Christmas.
