Louis Tomlinson is smitten!

The One Direction singer has been dating his girlfriend Eleanor Calder for more than a year but it seems that they are still in their honeymoon period as the hunk has revealed that he hates being away from her for too long.

Louis’ job in 1D leads to him travelling the world and working crazy hours, but when he gets any free time at all, he likes to spend it with the pretty student and told Heat magazine:

“I find it really hard to be away from Eleanor, but we see each other as much as we can.”

Louis is currently in London, though Calder is back in university up in Manchester. But at least they are on the same land mass, because in the last week alone Tommo has been to Ireland and France and he’s set to travel to Sweden next week and America once more later in the year.

An insider told the publication that as soon as Lou Lou touches down on UK soil after a trip abroad, his first thought is finding his girlfriend and they revealed:

“If Louis gets a spare second, his first thought is to get up to Manchester to see Eleanor. He doesn’t care if that means driving back at the crack of dawn. He just wants to be with her.”

Eleanor is in her final year of her politics degree in university, so can’t make trips to London so frequently. They added:

“She can’t travel with him as much this year, but she comes down to London when she can.”

Tomlinson recently praised his girlfriend in an interview with Seventeen magazine and revealed what drew him to her in the first place. He said:

“Aside from the fact that she’s hot, she had everything I was looking for.”

“She’s funny, loud and confident.”

He added:

“I’m not the type of guy who enjoys being single. I’m happier with the way things are with Eleanor.”
