One Direction 2012: Louis Tomlinson says Harry Styles romance rumours annoy him and girlfriend Eleanor Calder
Louis Tomlinson has admitted that all the bromance gossip surrounding himself and Harry Styles has affected his relationship with his pal.
The One Direction singer is often teased about his close friendship with the curly haired cutie, with some fans truly believing that the two men are in love.
Louis is currently dating Eleanor Calder and it seems that Styles has more notches on his bedpost than Hugh Heffner, but ridiculous as it may seem, the teasing and rumours have started to upset Tomlinson.
In an interview with MTV, the handsome star admitted that the active imaginations of many Directioners have had a big impact on his and Harry’s interactions.
He said:
“It is a subject that was funny at first but now is actually hard to deal with as I am in a relationship.”
Tomlinson continued:
“It is actually affecting the way me and Harry are in public. We want to joke around, but there seems to be a different rumor every time we do anything.”
We can’t help but wonder if the gossip upsets Eleanor as much as Louis, perhaps even more so as he was very quick to mention his relationship with the brunette beauty.
It seems strange that they would allow silly speculation to ruin their friendships or affect their behaviour to such a large extent, as anyone with eyes can see how loved up Louis and Calder are.
The couple are currently holidaying together in the South of France, while the rest of 1D catch up with family and friends at home in the UK and Ireland.

Louis is obviously madly in love with eleanor and Harry is still trying to find the right one but it doesnt mean that the right one is Louis. Ever think that the reason why they are always upset is because they know people don’t believe in their love? They are constantly followed by Cameras, reporters, and fans. There are countless shipping of people in the entertainment business. There are so many bands where the fans ship band mates together hardcore. Example would be the McFly guys. There is Pudd and Flones and the boys of the band play it up because they know their female and gay fans love it. They even have ship wars among themselves and are very aware of the fanfiction.
Another example is Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalacki. Their fans ship the characters they play on Supernatural, which are brothers by the way as well as Jared and Jensen in real life. The two men are very aware and also play it up for the fans. They’ve addressed this at many fans meet and greets. It doesn’t bother them. Also, the recent Avengers movie launched a million shipped pairing and the actors also played that up.

When Louis was leaving for America a few months ago El was there saying goodbye, and they were hugging each other so tightly, they love each other.

People always forget that these are real people with real feelings and emotions. I don’t understand what makes people think that because they want to get up and sing for us that we some how own them and can write whatever we like. I honestly feel bad for people who believe whatever the media tells them. That quote from Louis, first of all, has no video/audio evidence and is more than likely from publicists/management. Very similar quotes have been planted in other stories trying to make people feel stupid for believing they’re together.

Did you miss the fact that Louis tweeted a couple of days before the tour ended that he missed London, and that his mom tweeted to Harry’s mom that “their boys are coming home”? That would lead me to believe that Louis was excited about coming home and his mom was expecting him. Instead, Louis shows up in France with Eleanor, who he saw maybe 4 or 5 days before. He hadn’t seen his family in at least 6 weeks…I refuse to believe that Louis (someone who is SO close with his mom and sisters), would choose his girlfriend who he JUST saw over his own family. Sorry, but that would be such an extremely rude thing to do. It’s so obvious he was made to go to France, and once everyone started saying how stupid a move that was, the Tomlinson family was flown out there.

I came back to let you all know that the quote is FAKE. Louis never said any of this, as I posted originally, letting fanfics and rumors affect his “relationship” with Eleanor would be unheard of. MTV, who originally publicized this quote, was contacted by a fan and they admitted that Louis had never said any of it. So please don’t think any of this is true.

But the interviewers genuinely think there is something going on and take the joke to a whole other level, its ridiculous. They are JUST friends, and anyone supporting the boys would know that. I cant believe anyone would think otherwise. Harry has had continuous flings throughout his career, and Louis has been with Hannah and Eleanor during that time. The fact is that nobody who is commenting on this article knows what is going on in Harry, Louis and Eleanor’s heads. Larry shippers are going off what they see between the boys in interviews and performances, and Elounor shippers are going off what the media tells them. Nobody knows for certain who is right except for Harry, Louis and Eleanor.
I understand that it is none of our business, but this is just what happens when we are fans of someone. We wish for our idols to be happy. Some people think Louis is happy with Eleanor, some think he is happy with Harry. We are only supportive of a shipping because we think it is what’s best for our idol.
Yes, some people take it too far, and yes, it may affect our idols. But do you know what else probably affects them too?
All this fighting between Directioners! I doubt that they would like to see us all fighting about who’s dating who. As a fandom, we should be supportive of what they choose! So, at the moment, we should be supportive of Elounor as a couple, and Larry as best friends. If Larry comes out as a couple in the future, we should be supportive of them.

Liam and Danielle go out but you don’t see 120342894 High Quality photos of them do you? Every photo, Louis and Eleanor look so awkward and stiff. ELEANOR DOESN’T EVEN HOLD HIS HAND BACK. Have we seen a kiss from them? No. Liam and Danielle have recently had a few pictures of them taken by THEIR FRIEND not PAPS. Liam holds onto her and has a big grin on his face.

I don’t believe Harry and Louis are involved but that doesn’t mean I’m not 100% convinced Eleanor and Louis are contrived. It’s such an obvious, textbook fauxmance. I’m sick of seeing their dour faces in the tabloids every time this band’s PR needs to remind people that Louis has a girlfriend. It’s cringe-worthy and embarrassing and I feel as if I’ve seen this exact formula countless times before. Why are they going to let fans get between their relationship? Eleanor should at least respect Lou and Harry’s friendship and directioners just JOKE about it. Eleanor isn’t like Louis though. He isn’t as outgoing as he used to be.

Honestly even if louis and harry are in a realationship, or if it’s louis and eleanor. Who cares? When people hit on you do they ask if your dating your best friend? No they ask if your single. So honestly why does it matter who he’s dating? As long as he’s happy in his realationship? Really just that fact that he’s in a realationship is all you need to know. Probably not even that much. This whole thing is stupid. They’re a band. Can’t you find something to argue about that has to do with their music and not their life?

As much as I love Louis and Eleanor, he just doesn’t look happy with her.
But also, while he was dating Hannah, he would NEVER have taken something like this seriously. He’s definatly not the same Louis, he’s HARDLY EVER crazy, he refused photos with fans (which he never did once when he was with Hannah, she always encouraged him to take photos with them)
And the Harry and Louis. Louis always looks like he’s having more fun with him than when he’s with El.
Also, when ever Louis is asked about Larry, he says no… But Harry has never denied it once.
My main point here is that Eleanor has changed Louis, since he’s been with Hannah. And not for the better.
Don’t get me wrong, I like Eleanor and all, but they just don’t seem “in love”.

there is nothing wrong with being best friends! everyone has one and has there own way of showing how much they care about each other.and just because two guys care about each other or might even love each other does not mean that they are gay. harry and louis are like brothers. and that goes for the rest of the band as well. i am a directioner myself but some people get to caught up in it and if they where true directioners they would not try to start rumors or make up crazy stories about the band. because true directioners are to busy loving them and thanking them for all they do and just leaving them alone so they can live out their dream.

I agree. The Larry Stylinson stuff has been getting on MY nerves. It’s like everywhere I go, Larry Stylinson this, Larry Stylinson that. Or something like, “Louis is using Elenor because, he wants to get over Harry!” They are best friends, and are just really close.
The only reason why Louis is being affected by this is because he’s hiding something. You do know that there are a lot of people out there thinking that Niam or Ziam is real as well right? But Liam doesn’t say anything about it and their management is not trying to cover it up. Why? Because it ain’t real and Liam is really in love with Danielle. While for Louis, I think that he’s trying to prove that he’s in love with Eleanor when obviously he isn’t…..

Most of the Larry fandom doesn’t even think that they are, most of us think that they’re either bi/pansexual.
