While speaking to Heat magazine recently about his romance with Eleanor Calder, One Direction star Louis Tomlinson sparked more rumours about a possible engagement being imminent by saying, “It’s as serious as you can get.”

However, during an interview with Sugarscape, though Louis reiterated how much he loves Eleanor, he couldn’t actually remember how long they’d been an item!

At first, Louis joked, “We’ve been dating for five months, two weeks, three days and four hours. Give or take.”

However, he added, “Do you know what, I don’t actually know…”

But his 1D band mate Niall chipped in, saying, “You’ve been with her a while…”

Louis concluded, “Something like six, seven… eight months… neither of us know.

“I’m not a bad boyfriend, neither of us know! It shouldn’t matter.”

Indeed not Louis, and to return to Louis’ chat with Heat magazine, a source close to him said, “For people so young, they’re as serious as you can get, despite only being together a short time.

“They always get teased by friends and family members about when they’re going to set a date.”

The insider added, “Louis gets on well with Eleanor’s mum – he’s always trying to get in her good books and she’s quick cheeky to him.

“And Eleanor loves Louis’ mother.”
