One Direction 2012: Louis Tomlinson talks about his long distance love for girlfriend Eleanor Calder!
Louis Tomlinson has been opening up about his relationship with stunning student Eleanor Calder.
The One Direction singer has been in a committed relationship with the brunette beauty for almost a year now and one thing that bothers him more than anything else, is his fans giving his woman a hard time.
She has been the subject of quite a bit of Twitter hate and abuse and Louis confessed that he doesn’t understand what drives people who are supportive towards him, to be so nasty to someone he loves.
Tomlinson said:
“It’s really strange and the majority (of fans) don’t have hate towards her.”
Louis added:
“It gets a little frustrating seeing that, especially when I’m in a happy relationship. But at the end of the day, I am happy and Eleanor is happy.”
The loved up pair have plenty of other challenges to overcome also, as they are currently thousands of miles apart, as the X Factor star tours America with his band.
They are frequently on different continents, because of his work commitments but he thinks they can make it work, no matter how many oceans separate them from each other.
“At the end of the day, if you want it to work, it will work. It just requires probably more effort. If your heart’s in it, then you’re not gonna mess about,” Louis told Hollywood Life.
Meanwhile, Louis is elated that 1D’s new DVD ‘Up All Night’ has followed in the path of their best selling album and topped the charts in 25 countries.
He tweeted his fans saying:
“Massive thank you to everyone who has ever supported us. We would be nowhere without you and I assure you we never take it for granted 
xx”

A lot of people don’t like the way he treats his fans as he has become a bit of a rude diva to them so instead of hating on him(which would make them out to be a ‘bad fan’ to other 1D fans) they take it out on her. Also the fact that everybody believes he’s gay and that his girlfriend is a ‘beard’.

I love them as a couple. Them and Danielle and Liam make my heart melt, they’re so cute.
No one in the world can tell you who you should love and who you shouldn’t and no one has the right to hate on someone for being a loving girlfriend. Some of these so called “fans” are just disgusting and should be ashamed of themselves because firstly, they’re hating on someone who Louis truly loves and cares about and secondly, Eleanor has feelings too and putting her down and making her feel bad will not only hurt her but it will hurt Louis and if you truly are a directioner or a fan of one direction, you don’t have to like their girlfriends but at least respect them.
It’s not like I’m saying that I tolerate them because he’s happy although I am not… I am literally saying I am glad that theyare a couple, wish I could have that kind of relationship, and support them 100000% ! So I don’t even understand the hate even though I am not the biggest directioner around… Elounor forever!!!
They are so cute together so don’t hate on her. if you are a directioner you should be happy beacause louis is happy WITH ELEANOR!

I love the fact that Louis and Eleanor are a couple. I can tell they really love each other! I love One Direction soooooooooooooooooooooooo much! They’re my favourite boy band in the UNIVERSE! Louis and Eleanor are happy together so if u have the One Direction Infection then u should be happy about them being a couple! They should stay together forever! They make such a gorgeous couple.
I really like Eleanor & I like them together, I think they’re a cute couple & wish them the best. I don’t get why people hate on her. Its’ okay if you don’t like her but keep it to yourself because she has feelings & it hurts her & also Louis. If you love Louis you would be happy if he is. They is no reason to hate on her. No one deserves hate. If you’re a directioner but don’t like her being together with Louis, leave her alone & keep supporting Louis and One Direction instead of sending her hate. Thank you.

Omg!!!really Jen? Ur no fan if u say that about Louis. He is not rude to his fans. He’s rude to those who r so stupid they wanna call him gay and be mean to his gf! I don’t blame him either!:( Imagine how hard it is for him and all the boys. Did you read jens comment? she’s basically talking about fans, not herself. It’s true, Louis has become a diva, there are countless videos of him ignoring fans who want pictures, fans who want a hug and fans who want hello.. One girl even tried to give him something and he ignored her without a smile or anything, and in the end Liam took it from the girl. Liam is a sweetheart and he is the only one who is always 100% genuine when it comes to fans, the others take them for granted. If Liam wasn’t in the group, 1D would have lost a lot of fans a long time ago.
I love all the 1D couples. They’re just so cute, and I think it’s stupid when “fans” hate on their girlfriends or whatever, like really what’s the point .? Then the Gfs won’t like you, the boy won’t like you, other 1 D fans won’t like you…but whatever floats your boat I guess. Lol
it’s so funny when people say ‘they are so cute’ every bloody couple is cute when they are together, cuddling or laughing. These two are no different. You don’t know them, you don’t know if they are cute together or not, this could all just be a show, you never know.
It’s funny how Louis replies to people hating on his ‘gf’ but doesn’t reply to all those people who call me the ‘sassmasta from doncaster’ or call him ‘sassy’ (which is basically telling him hes gay)
I completely don’t understand people hating on Eleanor or Danielle. They have done nothing wrong. Just because they’re dating one of the boys, it doesn’t make them a bad person or anything. Honestly, you don’t know them, I don’t know them, so why hate on someone you don’t know? They could be great people. You just don’t know! From what I’ve heard, they seem billiant. Who are you even talking to? Just for the record, it’s pretty obvious in years to come Louis will come out as gay, no straight guy is that camp.
Louis (and the other boys too) is not gay! He acts sassy and gay, but he’s with Eleanor! Louis is dating Eleanor, not anyone else. Him and Harry are just REALLY close. They are not in an actual relationship. Louis is a very feminine, sassy, dramatic, straight guy! So what, he might be gay in the future but right now, he’s straight and has a girlfriend. People just need to except that. It’s hurting Eleanor and Louis when people tell them that she’s not really his girlfriend…

I don’t think it matters whether you like them as couple, as long as you accept them and don’t send Eleanor hate, it’s okay
They would probably think it’s better if people like them but it’s your opinion. No one can get at you for feelin that way 
Louis and Harry, Liam,Niall, and Zayn are NOT gay. Just because they act touchy-feely around each other does not mean that they are gay. Guys should be able to say that they love their friends just like girls do, without being called gay. And all those supposedly “fans” or “directioners” who hate on their girlfriends are not fans, they are just jealous, petty, little girls who think they deserve one of the boys from One Direction. Those people who send hate mail and death threats to One Directions gfs dont deserve a guy half as good as any of them and they will probly end up as lonely women who no one likes because they are just plain old mean. Dont be a hater because im sure that no one wants to end up as lonely widow with no family.
