Niall Horan isn’t even home yet and insiders say he can’t wait to get back to America.

The One Direction singer is apparently completely smitten with X Factor USA judge Demi Lovato and keen to move stateside for at least six months, so he can get closer to the former Disney star.

Horan and Lovato have been tweeting and skyping one another for months and have met in person on at least a few occasions and speaking to Closer magazine, a supposed source said that he now wants to take things one step further.

They explained:

“Niall told his family he’s crazy about Demi. He’s already going to have to send at least six months a year in the States with One Direction, so he wants to base himself near her and make a proper go of it.”

The Irish star just jetted home this morning, after completing a month long North American tour with his band and Olly Murs. However if the reports are to be believed, the blonde hunk could soon be jetting back in the name of love.

We aren’t even sure how this could work, unless the rest of 1D were planning to relocate also but with Harry, Zayn and Louis recently buying new London homes, that seems unlikely.

For now, Niall seems glad to be home and this morning, as he touched down on UK soil he tweeted this picture and caption:

The boys will now hit the studio, to complete work on their second album and it’s lead single which is scheduled for release in September.
