One Direction 2012: Niall Horan doesn’t want Selena Gomez….he still loves Demi Lovato!
Insiders suggested last week that Niall Horan and Selena Gomez were getting it on, but apprenelty they weren’t true.
Insiders have claimed that the One Direction star wouldn’t date the teenage singer even if she was single because he’s still very much hung up on the lovely Demi Lovato.
A source told Sugarscape that while the Irish hunk is friendly and on good terms with Gomez, he’d rather date the X Factor USA judge. He also wouldn’t want to upset Selena’s on/off boyfriend Justin Bieber and they explained:
“Niall and Selena are friendly with each other, but they don’t want to date each other. They’re not attracted to each other. And if they were attracted to each other Niall wouldn’t want to hurt his friendship with Justin by dating Selena.”
The source added:
“Niall still has a crush on Demi Lovato, who’s been Selena’s friend for a long time. He wouldn’t ruin his chances with Demi by dating Selena.”
Horan may have to tell Selena how he feels in no uncertain terms though because insiders have told Hollywoodlife that she’s determined to get herself a 1D member.
She’s seen how much attention Taylor Swift has gotten since starting to date Harry Styles and apparently she wants a bit of the boyband action.
An insider said:
“She’s seen what has happened with her friend Taylor and how dating Harry is getting her to get over her relationship with Conor, Selena has said that she wants to start dating someone else to see if there is something better out there.”
Liam is taken, Harry is taken, Louis Tomlinson is taken and Zayn Malik is spoken for. That only leaves Niall then doesn’t it?

Good thinking, niall. Don’t date selena if u feel it’ll ruin ur friendship with justin. If u still like demi, keep that with u, but focus on ur music career before u start a relationship.
