We love checking Niall Horan’s Twitter page each day, well each hour, well probably more like every 10 minutes if we’re being honest and most days we’re pretty interested and perhaps even excited about what he has to say.

For example, we loved the thought of him racing around London, desperately trying to make it to an Olympic boxing match on time after landing some last minute tickets to the fight.

We were also glued to our screens when he posted pictures of his barbecue on the roof last month and we even liked his shot a few weeks ago, showing Liam Payne strutting his stuff in Leeds city centre.

However, Niall got a little bit boring and maybe even slightly middle aged this evening when he posted about cleaning his flat for the second time in as many days.

He tweeted on Tuesday, telling his followers:

‘cleaning the house! place is in bits!’

This evening he added:

‘right i gave up cleaning the house the house the other night..but im gona do it now..clothes everywhere’

In between cleaning, the Irish star also lamented over the state of his barnet and asked his stylist for help, writing:

‘need a haircut ! bigtime! @louteasdale help!’

At aged 18 we would have expected Niall to spend a day off work lying in bed, recovering from a late night of clubbing the evening before. However when he got a few hours of relaxation time today, like many bankers, insurance salesmen and doctors all round the UK, Niall took to the golf course.

He added:

‘Just played golf with marv! Great laugh! I split my trousers right down the middle on the first hole, tie’n my shoe laces hahaha! #fool’
