One Direction 2012: Niall Horan wants to go to the Olympics while Zayn Malik watches at home
Niall Horan has admitted that he is keen to get his hands on some tickets to the Olympics.
The One Direction star has been enjoying watching the gymnastics, football and beach volleyball on his TV screen at home, however after hearing that there had been a lot of empty seats on the stadium and other arenas in London, the handsome singer revealed that he would gladly take a few tickets off organisers hands.
Niall tweeted last night saying:
‘whats with all the empty seats at the olympics..if they wan a give any tickets away ..i’ll have them hahaha!’
Zayn Malik would probably join Niall if he got half a chance, as it seems the hunky crooner is also quite the sports fan.
He tweeted:
‘Thought the olympic opening ceremony yesterday was amazing, what do you guys think? X’
Zayn added yesterday:
‘Afternoon every1, watching Olympic canoeing, pretty cool 
x’
The boys may get the chance to get up close and personal with some of the Olympic stars in just a few weeks time. The lineup of the closing ceremony is being kept a closely guarded secret, but leaked documents suggest that 1D may be joining the likes of Ed Sheeran, Take That and The Who on stage when the London 2012 Olympics draw to a close next month.

LOVE YOU NIALL! im american, but i REALLY wish i could get the chance to meet you! I love all of you in 1D, but if i had to choose a favorite, you would DEFINATELY be it. If you read this, your my favorite singer ever, and your awesome! I would love to see you guys perform at the closing ceremony for the olympics (id also love to go there and watch it in person xD)live.
