Several of Niall Horan’s One Direction band mates, including of course Harry Styles and Zayn Malik, have bought themselves some luxury motors recently…

And Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne have gone one better and bought their girlfriends, Eleanor Calder and Danielle Peazer flash new motors too.

However, Niall has yet to pass his driving test, but according to his brother Greg, he’s about to do so, and once he can ditch the ‘L’ plates, Greg reckons Niall will go for a sensible – but still a bit flash – car.

Speaking to TV Biz, Greg also revealed that Niall practices his driving skills with family and friends when he’s at home in Ireland…

He added, “Niall is working on sorting out his driver’s licence in London and then he might splash out on a Range Rover or something.”

Greg continued, “He is very independent and will do what he wants at the end of the day, but I can’t see him ever losing the run of himself.

“He’s not going to go out and blow all his money and I’m sure when he sees a house he wants he will buy it.”

And Greg added that sensible Niall’s feet have stayed firmly on the ground, despite his huge success and fame.

He said, “When Niall is back home, he is just Niall, and there’s not much talk about the band…

“He still has the same friends and wants to go to the same places, and we still treat him the same.”

But of Niall’s love life – and despite rumours that he pulled several times while on holiday in Marbella recently, and reportedly has the hots for X Factor USA judge Demi Lovato – Greg said, “He’s still single and I don’t think having a girlfriend is for him at the minute — just because he is so busy.”
