It’s been revealed today that One Direction stars Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson were “naughty” during their school days, and at least two of them narrowly avoided having criminal records.

Zayn got into some pretty serious trouble for carrying an imitation firearm, Niall stole, and Louis got into strife for pulling his pants down and exposing his bum at school!

The boys made their confessions while being interviewed on a US radio station this week. Beginning with Zayn, he admitted, “I once got in trouble for having a BB gun at school. I didn’t shoot anyone, I just had it.

“It wasn’t even mine but I got done for having an imitation firearm.”

Ball-bearing guns are legal in the UK, but you have be 18 to buy one and they must not be carried in a public place…

Next up, Niall confessed that he was once suspended from strict Catholic boys school Coláiste Mhuire in Mullingar County, Ireland.

He said, “I maybe stole something when I was at school, like stuff off a friend.”

But he added, “I was not a bad boy but I got suspended for two days for general messing about.

“I talked too much which probably got me in trouble.”

Louis then revealed that when he attended The Hayfield School in Doncaster, South –Yorks, he managed to get himself suspended for being very literally, cheeky…

He said, “I once got suspended for a week getting my bum out at a school performance of Grease.”

The Mirror adds, “Liam Payne and Harry Styles haven’t revealed any bad-boy behaviour… yet.

“The revelations come just before the What Makes You Beautiful singers star in a massive TV advertising campaign for Pepsi across America.”
