Niall Horan has admitted that he is keen to dye his hair black, but thankfully Simon Cowell has told him not to do it.
The Irish star has the most beautiful stunning blond locks and is the fairest member of the popular boyband, however as some of his bandmates get tattoos and experiment with their hair, it seems that Horan is eager to try something a bit different too.
Insiders have reported that Niall asked if he could dye his blonde curls black, even just for a short time, so he could see what he would look like as a brunette.
However the band’s management and indeed Simon Cowell don’t want to mess with the winning formula, that has seen 1D rising to fame and selling out concerts all over the world and have told the teenager that he needs to put his hair plans on hold.
A source told The Sun:
“Simon still controls a lot about the band down to the finest detail. Niall was desperate to get rid of his blond locks and go black just for an experiment, like loads of normal teens.”
But it wasn’t going to be that easy for him and the insider added:
“Luckily, he had the sense to ask Simon first because he knows how he works. He put in a text to him asking if he could change his hair colour. Simon was straight back on to him with a short reply, ‘No way’.”
Meanwhile Niall has admitted that he is glad to finally be back in the UK and revealed that he plans to take the next week very easily, after his recent hectic tour schedule.
The teen sensation tweeted yesterday that he would be spending the entire day doing nothing other than eating, sleeping and watching rubbish TV but it seems the sleeping part isn’t going so well.
Horan tweeted his fans this morning saying:
“Why do I wake up before 9 everyday! Bodyclock is all over the shop aaha!”
He’d better rest while he can, because despite the fact that they have only returned from a two month promo tour of America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, in just a few weeks time the 1D boys will be off again, this time for their first ever US arena tour.
It’s a hard life but someone has to do it!
