One Direction 2012: WATCH Harry Styles can speak Irish – Niall Horan was NOT attacked by a squirrel

Harry Styles is a clever boy!

He may have left school at the young age of 16 to pursue his dreams of becoming a world famous music star but the lad is not stupid.

One Direction appeared on The Late Late Show in Dublin last night and one of the first comments made by the interviewer, was about Styles’ language skills.

Harry met the presenter backstage and when asked how he was, the 1D hunk replied:

“Tá mé go maith.”

For those of you that don’t know (we do of course, because we did Irish at school!) that phrase means ‘I’m well.’

Of course Harry being Harry, followed the comment up with something rude, which doesn’t surprise us at all!

Later in the interview Niall Horan set fans straight on reports that he sustained his recent knee injury, after being attacked by a squirrel.

When asked if the reports were true he laughed:

“No, I have a reoccurring knee injury from playing football. I have dislocated my knee ten times in two years. So operation time for me.”

He was asked when that operation will occur, but it seems that he may not be able to fit it into his hectic schedule just yet and replied:

“Whenever I have time. Could be a couple of years!”

It certainly won’t be this week, as after their promo in Dublin, the lads will make their way to Sweden later this month, to appear and perform on the Swedish X Factor series.

Watch 1D on The Late Late Show below but we warn you, once you start you won’t be able to stop. It’s a pretty cracking interview!
