One Direction 2012: Zayn Maik & Perrie Edwards ordered to slow down and take a breather?
Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards are reportedly causing a bit of worry for their friends and family.
The One Direction singer and Little Mix star have been dating since April of this year and it seems they are spending every waking moment together when not at work.
Earlier this month, after 1D won big at the MTV VMA awards, most of the band stayed on in America, treating their girlfriends and family members to a bit of a holiday. However, Zayn hot footed it home to the UK to be with Perrie, as work commitments were keeping her in England.
It’s this sort of behaviour that has apparently caused concern to his parents and siblings.
“Perrie and Zayn are spending every possible moment together,” a source told heat magazine.
“They basically live together, mostly at his place because he lives alone, so they get more pivacy. She has half of her stuff at his place.”
Even earlier this week, the lads flew to Germany for a signing and when they came back to London, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Niall Horan headed to Louis Tomlinson’s house to have some dinner and watch the X Factor together. However Zayn went to meet his girlfriend instead.
“They spend most of their evenings together,” the source continued.
“They’re not into clubbing and celeb hangouts. They’re joking that they’re becoming abit middle aged. Zayn’s family love Perrie to bits, but they’ve made sure he’s careful not to settle down too quickly.”
Last month Danielle Peazer revealed that she has never met Perrie and it seems that Zayn likes to keep the blonde beauty all to himself. His parents are said to be a little worried by his actions and the source said:
“They like Perrie and know the two of them are besotted with each other, but they want to make sure he lives his life. Perrie has told friends that she thinks Zayn is the one, but her friends and family are also telling her to take it slower, as they’re worried she might lose focus on the band.”
Other industry insiders have expressed concern in recent months, claiming that Malik seems to be distancing himself from the band and some fans are concerned that he will leave.
In a new interview with Fabulous magazine the hunk revealed that he finds being famous incredibly hard and it’s clear that he’d rather live a quiet life with the woman he loves than be watched by the world’s media 24/7.

I personally think he needs to slow down. They haven’t even been dating for a year andn why rush anyway? Live while your young Zayn! (see what I did there? 😜) Engagement and marriage are two huge steps. The boys love you to bits too and what if you leaving causes the rest of the boys to split?? Oh my god I think I’m having a panic attack 😨😰
I agree with Rachel, live while your young and you have only been going out less than a year so take it easy, they both seem pretty into each other so why make an effort as though your trying to get the other one to like you! I mean doesn’t look like theyre going anywhere hey? But I think it’s best for them to spend equal amounts of times with band mates because they won’t be as close as before, but it is unfair how the media are getting involved again they are young and in live what’s the harm in that? I agree also, they should slow down but what about the cheating rumours? Iv listend to the phone call that was recoded it sounded like zayn. So if he is cheating then there shouldn’t be in a relationship.
Personally I was never a huge fan of Perries, I think Zayn started changing since hes with her. They should really slow down, maybe that would even be better for their relationeship. Fans are saying hes not even paying attention to them anymore. Spend quality time with her, not all the time xx
I think that it’s nice if they spend time together. Although he need to spend time with other people, and not just her. Other then that, it’s cute, just leave them alone.
yeah… Take it slow… and still even though your IN LOVE, still take time for the band, dont think that she;s your everything ( even though thats good) but dont go toooo crazy… and still remember YOU HAVE A LIFE, BEING IN A BAND…. and a life of YOUR own not PERRIE”s life!
I think zayn and perrie need to think bout lots and they should slow down cuz they might ruin their whole carrier made frm X-factor until now. So please Zayn and perrie please live ur life but in light please don’t leave ur bands spice girls and one direction!…=)
I love zayn & i love the band. So i think they both need 2 take things really slow. I know they are in love but one day away from each other won’t kill you. Spend time with the boys for a day.:)
I think people should just let them be. They are in the lovey dovey phase right now, everything that the other half does seems perfect to them because they’re so smitten with eachother. I do however think Perrie shouldn’t assume Zayn is the on quite yet because she may be setting herself up for failure. If Zayn were to leave the band it would be very sad but life goes on right? He has his taste of the media and aybe he does want to settle down but I do agree he should enjoy his should as should Perrie. I have supported One Direction since XFactor and if Zayn did leave (god forbid it) I wouldn’t stop supporting the rest of the boys, they have worked too hard for this!
Bottom Line, let them be. Remember not to believe everything you hear in the media unless it comes straight from the person who’s being talked about.
He needs to slow down. if he goes any quicker he will lose his place in the band and we fans will be devastated. They need to take a break and have time to do whaat they need to do. and having Danielle not meet Perrie is weird because i always thaught that they were good friends but no. STRANGE. Perrie is pretty but they need to slow down. he is only 19
I agree with everyone here but Jessica and Arjaiti. you think, your in a band and you ditch having dinner with your 4 best friends to hang out with your girl. y not the next day?? Us fans CANNOT lose Zayn. Especially not me
Shoudn’t your boyfriend or girlfriend be the one to encourage you to work your hardest at what you do. NOT the reason why you quit. If Zayn Malik quits ONE DIRECTION then ALL HELL will break lose on Perrie Edwards. That blond won’t know what hit her. Losing your life-long career is not worth some girl or ANYONE. Zayn might be “in love” but if Perrie felt the same way she wouldn’t have Zayn to be in any position where he could lose his career. JUST SAYING. THEY MOST DEFINITELY NEED TO SLOW IT ALL THE WAY DOWN!!!!!
I mean I love my boyfriend. But I still don’t want to spend every waking moment with him. I wanna live and spend time with my family and friends. And I know he wants to do the same. So giving eachother space doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world. It actually makes a stronger bond between you and your boyfriend. And no one has a problem with my relationship so I’m pretty sure if they do the same then on one will have a problem with theirs.
I think that a couple need some space to spend time with their friends or they family because if they spend every minute they can togheter they’ll finally break up, obviously I think that they need to slow down
