There must be lots of perks to being a member of One Direction, who are the biggest boy band on the planet, such as massive amounts of money, the adoration of millions of ladies all over the globe, and travelling the world…

But for some, it’s the simple pleasures in life that mean the most, and for Zayn Malik, that equates to a nice comfy bed and getting to lounge around with his girlfriend, Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards.

However, of Zayn’s love of a decent divan, while he might find a comfy bed just about anywhere, what he loves most about being super famous and super rich is that you get to stay in luxury hotel rooms with beds the size of a small football pitch.

Speaking to The Sun’s TV Biz, Zayn said, “I’m not bothered about what we get before or after shows as long as our room is comfortable.

“If I can sleep well, then everything is going to be OK…

“To me, after any day, I just want the biggest, most comfortable bed in our hotel…

“It is one of the best things about being in the band – getting nice hotel rooms.”

And as mentioned, according to Entertainmentwise, Zayn enjoys spending his waking hours in hotel rooms with Perrie, who’s revealed to Look! magazine that she and Zayn even have matching “chill out” outfits.

She said, “We just chill out on the sofa. I’ll wear the purple onesie Zayn bought me – he’s got one, too!”

And of how things are going between herself and Zayn, Perrie said, “Everything’s amazing. As long as we can talk as much as possible, we cope fine with being apart.

“The [Little Mix] girls always say he’s so good to me. I like to be treated like a princess and I love thoughtful gifts.

“When I was on holiday, I got him a painting and filmed the artist making it. He loved it.”
