We reported earlier this week that Zayn Malik has moved out of the One Direction complex for good and it seems we may have gotten to the bottom of the reason why.

The 1D star has lived in an apartment in the same building as Liam Payne, Niall Horan and previously Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson since shortly after the band finished on The X Factor in 2010.

However he has been househunting ever since he returned from America in April and insiders told Unreality TV that he moved the last of his things into his new home this week.

A source told Heat magazine that since hooking up with Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards earlier this year, the pair have more or less been living together any time they are both in the country. In the last few months Zayn has been staying at Perrie’s flat most nights but that could be set to change now that he has a new pad.

“They have been inseperable. They had a long time apart while Zayn toured the States, so they’re really happy to be together again,’ the insider claimed, adding:

“Zayn has been staying at Perrie’s place in Notting Hill most of the time. He’s rarely ever at his own flat and they want to make their joint living situation more official.”

Edwards’ bandmate Jesy Nelson claimed that Malik is mad about her pal and it seems she may be right, as the source explained that the 1D star has never been so head over heels about a girl before now.

“Zayn just hasn’t met anyone like Perrie,” they continued.

“He’s absolutely infatuated with her. They want to be together all the time. Zayn’s bought himself a house in North London but isn’t quite ready to move in there yet. Perrie is going to help him kit the place out – it will basically be their place rather than just Zayn’s.

“Perrie will have her own wardrobe space and will give advice on how it’s decorated.”

So it seems that Malik is well and truly off the market, despite many doubters who suspect that the whole relationship is just a ploy to boost Little Mix’s profile.

A so called friend of the hunk said that he is definitely in ‘love’ with the blonde beauty, insisting:

“It’s definitely love!”

“They try to lay low and don’t really want to be a couple who flaunt their relationship for the cameras, but in their circle it’s no secret they want a future together.”

Zayn was reportedly elated when Perrie returned for Marbella earlier this week, where she enjoyed a short break with her bandmates. The pair will be spending some more time apart later this month, when One Direction return to America for around three weeks, when they will finish recording their second album and finish with a performance at the MTV VMAs.
