Zayn Malik is back in the UK and it seems he is loving spending time with his girlfriend Perrie Edwards again.

The One Direction star was in America for less than a week, as his band performed at the MTV VMAs and scooped a whopping three awards during the ceremony. While most of his bandmates stayed on and enjoyed a bit of a US holiday, Malik rushed home to be with the lady in his life.

The pair were spotted out shopping yesterday and it seems that Zayn’s leg must have healed, as he was not walking on crutches in the store. The hunk sprained his ankle while hanging out with Justin Bieber last week and insiders say he had a bit of an accident, while goofing around in the star’s private skate park. Malik was pictured walking on crutches on Sunday, as he passed through LAX airport with Niall Horan.

Meanwhile, as Zayn enjoys a few days off from work, his girlfriend Perrie is still hard at it and revealed yesterday that she was busy working on a video shoot for her band’s third single.

The ladies’ second release ‘Wings’ enjoyed two weeks at the top of the UK single charts earlier this month but they aren’t ones to rest on their laurels and it’s been reported that the next track will be released before Christmas this year.

Perrie tweeted her fans last night saying:

‘It’s been so exciting shooting the video for the new single! Loving every minute of it! I hope you guys love it as much as I do! Perrie <3′

Her bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock added:

‘Omgosh what an amazing day it’s been! I actually can’t wait for this video to come out! Really hope y’all mixers like it! x Leigh’
