Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards may be a fairly new couple, but it has been claimed that the pair are quite serious about each other already.

The One Direction star and Little Mix singer first met on the set of the video shoot for the X Factor charity single last year and have been dating since the hunk returned to the UK from his US tour last month.

They went public with their relationship last week and were snapped kissing and hugging for the first time and sources close to the pair say they are both head over heels for one another.

The couple may be separated currently, after Zayn, 19, returned to America a few days ago for his band’s first headline tour of the country and Perrie is working hard ahead of the release of her group’s debut album.

However, the distance between them hasn’t lessened their feelings and an insider told Now that both teenagers are very serious about making their romance work.

They said:

‘They’re serious about each other and 
are determined to make it work while Zayn’s away in the States.’

‘They’re very committed to each other.’

Speaking about the new love of his life recently, Zayn gushed:

‘We’re absolutely incredible. Everything’s going 
great. We’re buzzing.’

Perrie was singing from the same hymn sheet and continued:

‘I’m really happy. When you both do the same kind of thing, there’s more understanding because you both get it… and it’s more exciting when you see each other.’

Meanwhile, although Danielle Peazer is missing her other half, the pretty dancer has been trying to fill her schedule while Liam Payne is across the Atlantic.

The brunette beauty will be jetting out to see her man before his tour ends on the 30th June, but before then she is hoping to bond with his older sister Nicola.

Danielle tweeted Liam’s sibling to wish her a happy birthday this week, to which Nicola replied:

‘Thanks hun u ok?? We need to have a little catch up soon mate. Im lovin ur picture hun u look beautiful xx,’ Nicola Tweeted back.

Danielle replied: ‘Yeah I’m all good thanks, loving the weather! U need to come down so we can have our night out in Essex! Say hi 2 evry1! Xx.’
