Zayn Malik has wished his Twitter followers a very happy Eid Mubarak this afternoon.

The One Direction singer is currently celebrating the festivals of Eid ul-Adha and Eid ul-Fitr and ‘Eid Mubarak’ is a traditional Muslim greeting reserved for use on these days. The phrase translates into English as “blessed festival”, and can be paraphrased as “may you enjoy a blessed festival” (Eid refers to the occasion itself, and Mubarak means “Blessed”).

The singer just messaged his fans writing:

‘Eid Mubarak to Zayn too, as well as all of you lovely muslims! ’

Malik is said to be having a quiet day at home with his family this afternoon, however last night he was out in London, watching his Little Mix girlfriend Perrie Edwards performing at GAY.

The rest of his bandmates were at the V Festival and we have some great pictures of Liam Payne and Danielle Peazer, along with Louis Tomlinson and Eleanor Calder loving it up at the event.

Niall Horan and Harry Styles were also at the concert with their pals and the lads are reportedly spending time in between performances in this amazing London tube style tent.

It is claimed that the tent cost a whopping £2,000, but then they have the cash, after all 1D are currently the biggest boyband in the UK if not the world.

Harry must have nipped out of the tent and back to London last night though, as the curly haired cutie was spotted leaving the Sanctum Soho Hotel, with his ex girlfriend Caroline Flack seen exiting the same building just a few minutes later…it seems that there may be a reunion on the cards.
