It’s understandable that Momma Malik is very proud of her little boy, One Direction star Zayn Malik, but according to sources close to mum Patricia, she’s become a teensy bit obsessed with Zayn merchandise…

According to the Daily Star, Patricia has tea towels bearing Zayn’s face – which she uses in the kitchen all the time – and even has a giant sized clock that also features Zayn’s visage, and maybe, when it’s a quarter past his ear, it’s time for her to dust all the pictures of him that she has in the house.

A friend of Patricia’s told the paper, “Zayn’s mum has an enormous clock with his face as the background on their mantelpiece.

“He’s a hero in that house and there are Zayn tea towels and pictures of him all over the place…

“In some ways it’s really sweet. but in others it’s a bit over the top.

“He lives in London and is touring all the time so she misses her boy like crazy.

“She texts him to say goodnight and sleep well every night.

“She loves to do his washing and if he doesn’t come back up to the family home in Bradford, she’ll drive down to his place in north London and look after him.”

Aww, well I’m sure any mum would be proud to have Zayn as a son, and why not fill the house full of 1D stuff?
