Fans of One Direction star Harry Styles will know that he’s wise enough to realize that investing in bricks and mortar is wise idea because of course, not only will he get houses at rock bottom prices during the global recession, but also, he’ll always have them to sell if ever things turn sour for 1D…

Not that that’s likely to happen, but nonetheless, he’s quietly and steadily building up a nice property portfolio, and his latest purchase will apparently be a luxury home in Hollywood near to US stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

The Daily Star reports that Harry has his eye on a $3million home in trendy and super-elite Los Feliz, which boasts a gym, a pool and “sprawling grounds…”

A source close to Harry said, “Harry is very sensible and he wants to build on his already high profile in the US.

“Harry loves LA and wants to live among the happening people there when he’s in the US.”

The paper adds, “And it seems the youngster, unlike most teenagers, has been listening to his dad’s words of wisdom.”

The insider added, “Des is a highly successful businessman who owns three properties and his own pub so he has advised him to invest all his wealth in a big property portfolio.”

However, the paper also reports that kind hearted Harry had a bit of a “wobble” about his celebrity lifestyle after he witnessed firsthand the poverty in Ghana, which he and the 1D lads visited as part of this year’s Red Nose Day appeal…

But apparently, those close to Harry have assured him that he shouldn’t feel bad because after all, he does a lot of work for charity, and gives generously of both his time and money.
