One Direction: Does Zayn Malik’s new ZAP tattoo stand for ‘Zayn and Perrie’ (Edwards)? No, it’s for Louis Tomlinson! (VIDEO)
Zayn Malik has apparently got a new tattoo…..another one!
The One Direction star was pictured this week with some brand new body art but it has sparked quite a debate about what meaning lies behind it.
Zayn’s new inking seems to read ZAP, which we are hoping is him paying homage to his favourite superhero comic but of course some Directioners are claiming is dedicated to someone more close to his heart.
Some insiders have claimed that the hunk got the tattoo for his Little Mix girlfriend and that the letters stand for ‘Zayn and Perrie’….awwwwww.
However, Zayn recently explained that the word has a special meaning for him and Louis Tomlinson, saying:
‘Basically it stands for a society of club zappers. Me and Louis are captain Zappers and we have converted the rest of the boys, they are a part of it.’
However Louis and Zayn have not awarded full membership to their special club just yet and added:
‘They are part of Club Zap but they are not captains.’
‘It’s like a secret society. If people want to join, you’ll be finding out some news soon.’
Zayn also has a mic tattooed on his forearm, his grandfather’s name on the side of his chest, a symbol meaning lucky on his hip and a yin and yang symbol on his left wrist.
We have to admit we were a little worried that Zayn was making a life long commitment to Perrie when we first saw pictures of this new tattoo, but we should have known better. Especially after reading the story about him and an Olympic backing dancer earlier today.

I believe it because when I first got my twitter a couple of months ago I went through the tweets of the one direction guys. I know im a creeper but I was cerious and zayns tweets kept having the word zap at the ending.and I was like.what the feak is this but yeah he likes the word zap

DUDE, ZAP IS MOST LIKELY ZAYN AND PERRIE. THEY PROBABLY USED THAT CLUB AS AN EXCUSE BECAUSE HE DIDNT WANT TO THROW IT IN HIS FANS’ FACE THAT IT WAS FOR HIM AND PERRIE. BUT I GUESS WE SHOULD BELIEVE WHAT HE SAID.
It’s not for Zayn and Perri because I saw a family friend of mine who has the exsack same one
