One Direction, Little Mix (with Perrie Edwards), JLS, Alexandra Burke, Olly Murs & Leona Lewis appear in another great X Factor 2012 promo (VIDEO)

The excitement is building and The X Factor will soon be back on our screens.

Last week we brought you a series of videos featuring One Direction, JLS, Leona Lewis and Olly Murs in which the acts spoke about their journey on the ITV show and how much it has changed their lives. The clips were accompanied with the tagline #whosetimeisitnow.

At the weekend ITV released another promo featuring the three acts above, as well as last year’s winners Little Mix and 2008 champion Alexandra Burke, in which the stars talk about their memorable moments and how it felt to win (or lose in JLS’ case) the competition.

Newly married Marvin Humes from JLS confessed:

“From day one to the final, that whole thing just went like that!”

His bandmate J.B however revealed that when Dermot O’Leary announced that Alexandra had won, leaving them in second place he was gutted. He admitted:

‘I was so upset, I hate losing.’

Olly Murs said he would never forget his time on the show, which we’re sure is compounded by the fact that he now works on companion show The Xtra Factor every week.

He said:

“Every time I went out there on a Saturday night I just thought ‘This is the best job ever!’. That’s what was so great about The X Factor memories….I am never going to forget it.”

Leona Lewis told this year’s hopefuls that there is a lot to be gained by artists entering the reality TV show, adding:

‘It was so exciting, a big learning experience for me.’

One Direction finished in third place in 2010 and have went on to sell millions of albums and fill concert venues all over the world. Liam Payne said the big stage and even bigger audience is what made an impression with him, explaining:

‘When we first stepped out those doors and you realise there is millions of people of home watching you….that’s always going to be the biggest memory for me.’

Little Mix shot to fame when they became the first group ever to win The X Factor at the end of the 2011 series. They think it’s because they worked so well as a team, saying:

‘Every time we were on stage we would just bring the best out in each other.’

On how it felt to win, Leigh Anne laughed:

‘I could not stop crying, like it wouldn’t stop. We have managed to change our life through the X Factor.’

Alexandra Burke won the show in 2008 and believes it was hard work and determination that helped her triumph. Giving tips to new contestants the brunette beauty said:

‘I was just determined to get through week by week. Winning was just mind blowing.’

The clip ends with this year’s panel, Irish star Louis Walsh, dad of three (nearly four) Gary Barlow, former N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos, and newcomer Nicole Scherzinger in new promotional photos alongside the hashtag ‘#WhoseTimeIsNow’.
