One Direction, The Wanted, Tulisa and Robbie Williams planning winter album releases because of X Factor performances?
Insiders have claimed that acts such as One Direction, The Wanted and Robbie Williams are all planning to release their new albums and singles this winter, because they know that a performance on The X Factor can massively boost their sales.
It has been reported that the boybands and Take That star, as well as JLS, Leona Lewis, Rita Ora, Emili Sande and others have been approached about performing on the Sunday night results shows later this year and will use the slot to promote their new records and time the release to coincide with their appearances.
Despite falling ratings, the X Factor last year was still the most watched series on TV and acts are keen to cash in on that waiting audience and the knowledge that a performance on the ITV show can double the amount of records they shift within the first week of release.
It has been reported that producers are considering having up to three big named performers on the show each weekend and that they will most likely include X Factor judge Tulisa, with her newest single, and Xtra Factor host Olly Murs, who recently supported One Direction on tour.
A source told Celebritan: “The X Factor has shaped the way the music industry works in this country.
“There’s a reason why all of these artists wait until the winter months to release their new albums and it’s because of the X effect.”
The insider added: “They know that performing infront of twelve million viewers or more guarentees great sales. It’s as simple as that [sic]“.

I am sorry, but right now (considering it became Number 1 in the USA) i don’t think One Direction need help selling their next album. Not that Little Mix do, but since they were lasts years winners, should they not do it? anyway, there are like 10 live shows and therefore 10 performances could go on!
i want to see 1 direction on th x factor live performances xxx
