Ozzy Blasts The X Factor!
In an interview with Planet Rock radio station Ozzy Osbourne criticised his wifes show The X Factor for “killing music” and traumatising its contestants.
He also said “It’s about killing music to make light entertainment. It should be about music and talent but it’s not.”
I am an avid X Factor fan, I think it makes great TV and excellent entertainment, but I have to say that Ozzy has a point. The X Factor is not about talent, Marias eviction and Phillip Magees getting into the final twelve proves that. Its about getting big ratings and making as much money from the phone votes as possible.
I’m not sure that Ozzy should be so vocal about the show’s shortcomings though, it puts the dinner on his Beverly Hills table after all!
