Perrie Edwards has admitted that she hated the picture of her kissing her new boyfriend, that was printed in newspapers recently.

The Little Mix singer has been dating One Direction’s Zayn Malik for the last few months and in May, a newspaper photographer got the first snap of them kissing (which we’re sure that he sold for a huge amount of money!).

The blonde beauty has admitted that she was really embarrassed when she first saw the shot, which was taken when she was saying goodbye to her hunky boyfriend, as he jetted off to America for the 1D headline tour.

Perrie told PA:

“Well to be fair I didn’t like the photo because I looked rank, so I’m a bit gutted that they catch you off guard. Obviously everyone knows that me and Zayn are together and I’m really happy.

“But I’m not going to get into detail and talk about it too much – but Leigh-Anne’s single you can hook her up!”

Meanwhile, Edwards has become the butt of many jokes on Twitter and attracted more than her usual share of online abuse, after she posted a picture of Zayn…but spelled his name ‘Zayne.’

A Twitter post announced:

‘This Mixer’s Monday check out our Little Mix Alphabet on Pinterest! Find out the girls fave things from A-Z Mixers HQ x’

Under ‘Z’ was a picture of the 1D hottie, but his name was misspelt.

One user wrote:

‘OMFG perrie spelt her own boyfriend’s name wrong omg awkward turtle for her’

Another tweeted:

‘perrie accidentally spelt zayn’s name wrong i’m laughing so hard i could spell his name right even if i was in a coma’

However Perrie hit back, claiming that the mistake wasn’t hers. She insisted:

‘Just to clarify. The alphabet was typed up wrong after we wrote it on paper. I am aware of how to spell my own boyfriends name Perrie <3′
