<description>I don&#039;t know what it is about successful people that gives them the right to condemn programmes which do have an end result that gives someone a chance in life. What is it with these people? Don&#039;t get me wrong but Henshall is a successful name in British Theatre and the Primeaval actor isn&#039;t the only one. Besides this the British public love a talent show and irrespective of how much of them today is based upon reality TV formula, they aren&#039;t new and many years ago talent shows were thought of in a much better light.

I do not understand at all why they were an acceptable form of home entertainment and today they are condemned as such. I think its time professional came out of their cupboards and gave these shows a chance. Afterall, someone gave them a chance many years ago and that is all people are looking for. Either that or maybe we should question the idea of patronage and boycott all programmes where people have gained access to the world of entertainment via who they know and not real merit or talent.
