The remaining X Factor acts were lucky enough to be mentored by Queen legends, Brian May and Roger Taylor last night. The bands drummer and guitarist gave the wannabes a rock masterclass in advance of tonight’s Queen themed show.

Jamie in particular was in his element as he chatted to his idol. He even admitted that he had used Brian as inspiration for his wacky hair. He told May:

“It’s part Brian May and part Jimi Hendrix.” Jamie will sing Radio Gaga on tonight’s show and on the song he raved: “Queen are heroes of mine. I know this performance is going to be the best of my life.”

The men also had some sage advice for Danyl Johnson. May told him:

“Freddie was accused of being arrogant more than once. You need to go out there and give it to the audience”.
