Rage Against The Machine campaigners turn down job with Simon Cowell
Jon and Tracy Morter, the people behind the massive Rage Against The Machine internet campaign, have been offered jobs by X Factor boss Simon Cowell.
Cowell admitted that he was hugely impressed by the viral online campaign and how it was managed. He isn’t even bitter that Jon and Tracy helped block his boy Joe McElderry from the Christmas number one spot.
“I offered them jobs at my record company,” He told The Mirror. “It could be in marketing or even running the company!
“I wanted them to come and work for us. I was deadly serious but they haven’t taken me up on the offer.
“I called Jon on Saturday to congratulate the two of them that, win or lose, they turned this into a very exciting race for the Christmas number one.”
