The X Factor hit record ratigs figures on Saturday night when it was watched by 10.6 million people at its peak!

This beat last years top ratings for the show which were 10.5 on the final night with Steve Brookstein and G4.

A spokesman from ITV has said “we are absolutely delighted” . And I bet they are! They have stampled on the BBC’s rival show ‘Hes Having a Baby’ presented by Davina McCall.

Davinas show has been moved to an earlier time slot to avoid going head to head with the X Factor and has had its run cut by two weeks.
