Last night should have been a celebratory sort of evening for pop star – and X Factor favourite – Rihanna, given that she was showing off her first fashion collection at London Fashion Week…

However, it began badly when, having kept the crowd waiting for over an hour to see her display her wares, Rihanna left moments after the catwalk event, dragging her mate Cara Delevingne with her.

Then, her night got worse when a passerby lobbed a Lucozade bottle at her, which cut her knee, prompting concerned friends to usher her away for treatment…

Of the fashion show debacle, an onlooker told The Sun, “She kept everyone waiting for a whole hour for the fashion show to start and only made the briefest appearance at the end.

“If you’d blinked, you’d have missed her.

“Everybody was expecting her to at least show her face for a few minutes at the afterparty, but she clearly couldn’t be bothered.”

On now to the bottle throwing incident, and the Daily Star reports that the man who threw the bottle was “screaming insults about her on-off lover Chris Brown.”

Having injured the singer, the man ran off down a side street as Rihanna’s security guards chased him. They didn’t catch him but one of the security team suffered a leg injury himself, for which he needed hospital treatment.

The conclusion to Rihanna’s night from hell came when Cara abandoned her to go partying with former X Factor guest judge Rita Ora, who recently said model Cara – who of course dated One Direction’s Harry Styles last year – was her “wifey”.

Of that, The Sun reports, “There’s no love lost between Rihanna and Rita Ora, so the British singer wisely gave her rival’s catwalk show a miss.

“Cara headed straight from the Soho club to a house party Rita was attending in Notting Hill at 3am.”
