Last years X Factor finalist Robert Allen will make an appearance later in this years series of the X Factor, but we are warned that we will see a big change in the cheeky chappy.

We asked Simon Cowell if we could expect to see any familiar faces during the X factor four auditions and he told us that soul singer Robert Allen came along, although just as emotional support for his girlfriend who was singing for the judges.

Well according to Simon, his girlfriend was not up to scratch and didn’t make it to bootcamp, and it seems that Robert, complete with dark glasses and a menacing snarl, was not too happy with the judges decision. Simon told us to watch out for him in a later episode and we can be sure of a shock.

I find this a bit weird, as when we interviewed Robert last year, he could not have been more helpful, nice or accommodating….strange! Many previous auditionees have been complaining over on our forum about the manipulation of the X Factor cameras….could this be another case? Robert came across so well on TV last year and was so easy to chat to when he was voted off. Can someone change that much in a year? What do you think?
