Twilight star Robert Pattinson is said to be a huge fan of ITV’s X Factor and Dannii Minogue claims to have invited him to watch one of this year’s live shows.

Pattinson plays Edward Cullen in the teen vampire movie, the second installment of which will be released this November. He was born in Britain and is reported to keep track of the X Factor series and its stars each year.

Dannii Minogue told The Mirror: “I just heard that Twilight star Robert Pattinson is a HUGE X Factor fan. I know he was born in Britain but he spends most of his time in America. Even so my X Factor crew would love to meet him – and he has officially been invited by the gang to one of the live shows.

“I reckon Robert might get more screaming fans than Simon Cowell. Robert might just have to bite his own lip if that happens!”

A source told The Mirror: “Robert is a massive fan of the X Factor. He tries to keep up with it even when he’s abroad working. He’d love to meet the judges and hang out with them backstage so he is thrilled with Dannii’s offer.”
