American Idol presenter Ryan Seacrest has said he would love to cross the Atlantic and host a show in the UK.

Seacrest added that he would be particularly tempted by a role on the X Factor so he could take on carry on his battle with his long-time adversary, judge Simon Cowell.

“I need to come over there!” he said at the My Coke Fest festival in Detroit, Michigan, where he introduced the new Coke track, Open Happiness.

“I think you should start a campaign so I can come over there and rib Simon.”
