Shakira performs ‘Did It Again’ on X Factor
‘She Wolf’ singer Shakira performed on tonight’s X Factor results show.
The Colombian songstress, sang her new single ‘Did It Again’, which is due for release on 14th December 2009, it can also be downloaded here
As always, Shakira looked delectable in a naval baring sparkly catsuit doing her rather bizarre dance moves. The jury’s still out on the actual song – it’s definitely not as catchy as first single She Wolf. Things get a little bit odder when she started drumming with those Oriental chicks in the background, but I guess that’s par for the course with this lady 
In her interview with Dermot O’Leary she told the contestants to put in “hard work and intelligent effort” and to “not be afraid of Simon”. Unreality TV wonders if guests are contractually obliged to namedrop Mr Cowell during their interviews…

Oooh cynical much! I liked Shakira’s performance although it was pretty much identical to every other live performance she did! But her vocals were smooth and her dancing…well…it…got me hot under the collar for want of a better phrase! I actually much prefer this song, the verses in She Wolf were brilliant but the chorus was horribly grating and all the Daft Punk style vocals were annoying too. I like the Asian theme running through this song and Pharell’s beats!
To start with, she is not a “Columbian” songstress, she is a Colombian songstress.
The show was well above “par for the course”. It was exciting, exotic, surprising and delightful.
I still enjoy performers who push the barriers rather than sticking to the old and boring prototypes.
Well done Shakira. You are top class.
