Sharon Osbourne Quits X Factor 2008
Reports have emergerd this afternoon that X Factor judge, Sharon Osbourne has quit the show.
Filming is due to start on the show next week on the 12th of June, however Sharon had not yet signed her contract and according to The Sun has bailed out of appearing on the show.
‘This is it – Sharon has walked,’ reveals a source to the newspaper.
‘There are no more empty threats. She has left. We’re so disappointed, because Sharon is a major part of the show,’ adds the source.
ITV released a statement saying:
Sharon Osbourne has decided to leave The X Factor after four fantastic years. ITV thanks her for her immense contribution to the show and for all her humour, compassion and energy. She has been a tremendous judge and mentor on the programme but we respect her wish to leave and wish her the very best with her future projects.
So what do you think? Will X Factor be better or worse without Mrs O? I personally think that Sharon will be missed but I know that many of you out there detest the woman! As always feel free to leave your comments below!

I don’t detest her, but I do not think she has pulled her weight lately and I think she began to think she was bigger than the show.
I agree with Trudy, Sharon was barely interested last year, and to be honest, she’s been annoying for a while now.
The rumours last year that she was out to sabotage the show seemed to have an element of truth when she threatened to walk out during a live show. I wonder if she’s severing all her ties with Cowell, Inc, or if she’ll continue her role in America’s Got Talent?
I am so glad this horrible has been has gone. She obviously thought she was better than everyone else, when we all now she is finished. The way she treated Dannii was inexcusable and I, for one, am glad she has gone!.

I Think Sharon Is A Big Part Of The Show And I Don’t Feel It Will Be Quite The Same With Her Gone.
I Don’t Think It Is Fair Of Lavander To Call Her Horrible, Simon Cowell Is Worse Than Sharon So If She Is Horrible What Does That Make Simon?
I think she was a little jealous of the attention Danni got and the fact she ‘won’. I will miss her though, I thought she was great.

I love the show to pecies but by FAR the highlight of the show is sharon itv are silly to let her go, but simon cowell is a stuck up, selfsenter little man. I can’t even begin to believe that simon cowell would even ‘TRY’ and replace sharon with ether Dannii or Mel B i don’t like ether of them at all!! They are both nobodys conpaired to you sharon! For get what dannii saids if you really love it on x factor come back before its to late. Come on sharon please please don’t leave! you completely and toterly make the x factor what it is!!!!

i complete disagree with lavender sharon is fabulous (TO QUOTE HER) she is not horrible in fact if anyone is look no further than stuck up dannii mingoue i mean lets think about real facts here the only reason dannii got on the show in the first place are for three reasons 1. shes looks good on our screens 2. simon fancy the pants of her and 3 (which is the main reason) because her sister is kyle mingoue!!!

Mark, what planet are you on!!!? I don’t understand why you don’t like Dannii Jane Minogue. I mean who doesn’t like her?!! she has a right to be on the show, she a brillent Judge because she’s on Austraila’s got Talent and alway’s look’s pretty and glamous on that show. and I’ll tell you the reason’s why she’s on the show. 1/ She’s honest ( Like she always is) 2/ She is a great Judge ( Beside Simon and Louis) 3/ she has a lot of expriece as a judge. ( refring to Aussie got talent)
