Sharon Osbourne Regrets Leaving X Factor
Sharon Osbourne dramatically left the X Factor judging panel earlier this year amid claims of unrealistic pay demands, but sources say that the loud mouthed mum is already regretting her decision.
A friend of Sharon’s told Star magazine: “It has hit her hard. She has been in bits. She thought she was going to be inundated with other offers but it hasn’t happened. It’s especially hard on her as her replacement Cheryl is so young and popular. Sharon’s starting to feel like she might be past it.
Another source added: “There were rumours of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and all sorts, but nothing that great has actually been offered to Sharon. It’s not often she admits she is wrong, but she’s worried she has misjudged her popularity.”
If this is true I think it’s a real shame, as in her heyday Sharon was a great X Factor judge.

We do not want her back, surely she must have know she was not that popular, must have been living in a bubble or delusional like some of the acts.

Sharon is missed already, after only week one….She was as much a part of the programme as Santa is to Christmas. The 2 young girls are far too young and inexperienced of years as what both Louis and Simon have been.
Sharon has been in the music business long enough to know what is good and what is not and her talent here should not be dismissed so easily. (Maybe she was a little silly, as many TV personalities do become, in thinking they are bigger than the programme but she was as much a part of the programme itself as any other panel memeber or winners and losers who think they have that “X-Factor” themselves.

The X-factor show is as much about the judges and their intercations and “feuds” and I think the problem with the last series is that started to swamp the overall show, and this was largely due to Sharon (especially once all her acts were gone) as the only thing she had left was her.
I am not sure that she will be missed in the end if it focuses on the acts. We also need to remeber that none of her acts she chose ever won the show (if I recall!).
Saying that, I agree that it would have been more interesting to have a record industry “heavyweight” rather that Cheryl Cole. It would have meant a more industry and substance discussion – and created a better discussion with Simon (who is still the best judge by far). Maybe that is why he did not select someone like that!
