Simon Cowell and Mezhgan Hussainy are rumoured to be planning a quiet wedding ceremony and a huge showbiz reception which will take place in September of this year.

Helped along by Simon’s two ex girlfriends Sinitta and Jackie St Claire, plans are already underway for the wedding of the year and contrary to reports last weekend that it would be taking place on a boat in Barbados, sources now suggest that Simon will be getting married in Sussex for his mum.

A source told The Mirror: “With Simon’s hectic schedule there are only so many weeks in the year they can get married.

“They felt the spring was too early to get things organised and Simon would be spending most of his time in America with Idol. So they pencilled in the weekend of September 11/12.”

“It will be just before the live shows of X Factor starts up again so he’ll have to go back to work soon after.

“Despite his persona he is a very private person and says he wants to keep the actual blessing of their marriage personal, with only his family and very closest friends present.

“There will be hardly any showbiz guests, if any, when they become man and wife. He will save the celebrations with people he works with for afterwards.

“Jackie and Sinitta have taken it upon themselves to help out as wedding planners, coming up with loads of ideas for their big day.

“They have so many plans for the party afterwards and they want to make it better than his 50th party at Wrotham Park.

“God knows who they are going to get but it is sure to be the wedding reception of the century.”
